As we look forward to celebrating the birth of Dr. Maria Montessori, we take a moment to honor her strength, her compassion, her foresight and her brilliance. Dr. Montessori is known for her pioneering insights as a scientist and researcher. We also acknowledge her humanitarian efforts in the defense and honoring of the child as critical in achieving peace. Her legacy continues through all of those who are fortunate enough to be touched by this work.
