This birthday feels so different. I knew that God was moving in my life at an accelerated pace because He was preparing me for something big. Something major.

I always thought it was for someone else not realizing that He was changing me from the inside out. Having a relationship with the Lord means choosing Him every day. I can’t lie and say that it’s been easy but I do it. Even at times when my family and friends didn’t understand. I have made mistakes. I have complained. I have cried. I have felt afraid and weary. I was ready to give up more times than I would like to admit but God kept me.

There have also been some blessings… I’m a published author, a great woman of God, and I can hold my head high and say that I am who God says that I am. My heart, mind, and soul match my outer appearance and that’s what matters to me.

My focus in my 36th year on earth is to continue building an intimate relationship with the Lord, walk fully in my purpose, and continue being a light. I keep saying that God is going to blow my mind and I truly believe that He has already done enough. If I can say one thing it would be try God for yourself. With Him all things are possible. You will not regret it.

Thank you for all the texts and calls. Thank you to all the people who keep me covered in prayer. All those that are rooting for me. All the people who support me. And all those who keep asking about my love life. I’m no one’s girlfriend, I’m a wife and my husband is on the way lol Love you all! 💕❤️

My desire is to honor God in everything that I do. Even if that means allowing Him to be in control of every aspect of my life. It’s not easy, but the reward is greater than anything that I could ever imagine. ❤️

To those who are still waiting for a promise from God. Do not give up. He heard your prayers. He saw your tears. I know you’re tired but keep holding on to your faith. The Bible says that all you need is faith as small as a mustard seed and nothing will be impossible for you.

“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.””

Everyday I pray for knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and making sure that my heart stays pure. I feel like your intentions are very important. They make all the difference in whether you succeed or fail.

This is my prayer for you.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t ever think that how God created you or what God placed inside of you is ever insignificant. He made you in His image and from what I know, God is perfect!

You may not look like them, or dress like them, or act like them, or talk like them, or have what they have but, just know that God did not make any mistakes when he created you!

You won’t have to convince, beg, or do anything extra. You are a woman of distinction and those that you were created for will be drawn to you. ❤️

This devotional started off as personal journal entries that I penned throughout my singleness journey to keep myself encouraged and I thought to share it with others.
