Congratulations to DVUSD Sandra Day O'Connor High School Air Force JROTC leaders Major Vaughan Whited (left) and Master Sergeant John "Mike" Badey (right) on recently being named the West Region Subdivision winners for the Outstanding Instructor Awards (OIA).

Both Whited and Badey were the only nominees in the state of Arizona to earn this honor. These exceptional individuals exemplify the highest standards of dedication, professionalism, and impact in AFJROTC.
