Hi everyone! So since a few people have mentioned they would like to help with oSTEM but haven't sent in their apps, we've extended app deadlines to midnight tonight. All you have to do is send me an email with which positions you're interested in and a short blurb (1-2 sentences about why). Underclassmen are highly encouraged to apply as well!

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone’s having a fantastic start to the semester! So in order to get the ball rolling on oSTEM as soon as possible, we’ve decided to have online elections and closed voting to decide on board. Although we’ve had a lot of interest, everyone is still welcome to apply. We’ve also opened up positions for a larger board, which includes:
Alumni Chair:
Coordinate and improve relationships with Alumni for funding and professional networking purposes
Diversity Chair:
Coordinate education seminars regarding diversity both in and outside professional spaces
Professional Chair:
Coordinate constituents to communicate and participant in greater oSTEM events, explore the possibility of holding a conference
In addition to the existing ones:
Finance (LGBT/Engineering) Chair:
Coordinate funding for all programming events
Social Chair:
Coordinate social events (parties/mixers/study sessions?)
Vice President:
Support Chairs in any facet
President:
Lead, ideate, and delegate responsibilities for core programming
If you’re interested in any of these positions, please send a blurb to me ([email protected]) by Saturday midnight. Voting will be conducted from Sunday morning to Wednesday at midnight, at which point I will send an email notifying new board. This board will meet on 9/23 at a time TBA.
