As so many students head off to college or go back to school, I want to share a bit about my insecurities as I went to college and how I overcame them. College turned out to be a place where I learned and honed many important invaluable life lessons, most outside the classroom or lecture hall. Lessons that have served me incredibly well over the years.

Equity issues aside, we can see why colleges and universities are returning to test-required admissions. It's in their interests to accurately predict which applicants are more likely to succeed once admitted.
