Enspire Consulting Group was grateful for the opportunity to participate in a recent LifeLab event centered around emotional intelligence, social-emotional learning, and student wellness.
During the presentation, Dr. Edwards spoke with students about how gaming experiences can help build important life skills such as:
• Emotional regulation
• Teamwork and communication
• Problem-solving
• Frustration tolerance
• Responsible decision-making
Students also learned practical tools, including the “PLAY” model: Pause. Label. Assess. Yield.
One of the most important themes of the conversation was that gaming itself is not the problem—it can become an opportunity to strengthen emotional awareness and social-emotional skills when approached intentionally.
We appreciate everyone who helped make this event engaging, thoughtful, and impactful for students and families alike. 💚

As the school year comes to a close, many students, parents, educators, and school staff are carrying more stress than people realize.
For students, this season can bring testing anxiety, transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
For parents, it may mean balancing work, changing routines, childcare needs, and burnout.
And for educators and school professionals, the end of the year often involves emotional exhaustion while continuing to support others every day.
At Enspire Consulting Group, we want to remind our community that mental wellness matters during times of transition too.

We’re proud to share that our CEO, Dr. Edwards, was recently featured in the Philadelphia Tribune for his work building a practice dedicated to supporting Black children and families.
His journey—from North Philadelphia to becoming a psychologist and business leader—reflects a deep commitment to addressing gaps in mental health and educational support within the community.
This work is about more than services—it’s about access, representation, and creating spaces where children and families feel understood and supported.
