NPSD Educational Foundation

Yesterday was the 25th annual NPSD Educational Foundation golf outing, celebrating 25 years of supporting the stellar education in the North Penn School District. It was a beautiful day on the course at Talamore Country Club, and our amazing golfers and sponsors had a great time at "Golftoberfest". We also got to honor a former trustee, Jerry Snyder, who had the idea 25 years ago to hold a golf outing. Thanks to Jerry, this outing has continued to help fund innovative projects and make a difference in the lives of NPSD students every day.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support this endeavor, including our Premier Sponsor, Univest Financial, who has supported the golf outing for 20 years alongside many other long-term sponsors. We hope to see everyone back next year for another great day of golfing while supporting North Penn students!

We wrapped up our annual Build a Bag school supply drive by assembling bags and delivering them to our NPSD schools!

Thank you to everyone in the community who participated, including our community partners who kept donation bins in their buildings including: JL Freed Honda , St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church - North Wales, PA , Bacco Restaurant , , , BZ Orthodontics , Carlee Myers Personal Training, LLC, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, PA , Rep. Liz Hanbidge, Rep. Steve Malagari, Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department , Montgomery Township Police Department .

An additional thank you to all of the organizations and businesses that held their own collection drives and donated much-needed school supplies for North Penn students! We were able to stuff hundreds of backpacks that will be distributed directly to NPSD students, ensuring that all students are set up for success.

25 years ago the first iPod was sold, a gallon of milk cost $2.88, Harry Potter was the most popular movie, and the NPSD Educational Foundation held their very first golf outing! You can join us for the 25th anniversary "Golftoberfest" outing on October 6, 2026 at Talamore Country Club. We are currently seeking golfers and sponsors to join us for a fun day on the course while supporting North Penn students. Golfers will enjoy a beautiful autumn day of golfing while helping to provide innovative classroom experiences that enhance the amazing education at North Penn. Sponsors can choose from a variety of sponsorship levels so you can find the right fit for you and your organization.
