Here are a few important reminders for the night before an SAT/ ACT. Good luck to everyone taking the ACT this Saturday, follow these tips and you’ll be ready to go!

REMINDER: The December SAT is this Saturday, the 3rd! Remember to arrive at your testing location at least 15 minutes early. You got this!

Eric's an incredible boss. He runs a small business that has been shown love time and time again from the local communities. He's played an integral role in assisting the students of Philadelphia suburbs achieve their college dreams. It's important to Eric that students get more out of their tutoring experience than just SAT points. He tries hard to instill work ethic in his students, while fostering an environment for them to relax and feel comfortable in.

There's more to Eric than just tutoring. He's a good person, who happens to run a tutoring company. Eric's good-ness defines the business, he does not let his business define him.

It’s that time again! Our administrative coordinator Jimmy has a great summer-themed test taking tip for you!

“My advice is– wait, what? Summer themed? Uh… Right… The beach is, um, perfect for test prep. You can do a lot at the beach. Try… um… Try counting seagulls. Just as many as you can. See if you can count them all. It will help with any seagull themed math problems that show up on SAT.”

What’s nice about our essay coaching program is that it’s entirely virtual. You can meet with your Essay Coach from anywhere! Could be the beach, could be your living room! “Saber un idioma secundario, o incluso terciario, puede ser inmensamente beneficioso. La forma en que se comportan otros idiomas puede brindar una visión profunda de su lengua materna. Conocer los orígenes de las palabras y los patrones de ubicación de las vocales y cómo conjugar correctamente los verbos en español, francés o latín puede brindarle fácilmente pistas para las respuestas en sus exámenes estandarizados. Por lo tanto, recomendaría aprender todos los idiomas antes de tomar el SAT o el ACT.”

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother-figures out there! Please enjoy the only passage from the SAT or ACT that I could find that had anything to do with mothers. The passage also happens to be from a story about labor politics in the 1860s, but that’s beside the point.

If you’re one of the teenagers that have been so caught up in AP exams and the SAT that you forgot today was Mother’s Day, now would be a great time to run to a local grocery store for a little bouquet of flowers.
