✨Calling all OT Educators!✨
Is your program teaching Assistive Technology? Assistive Technology (AT) is changing rapidly, and we want to know how OT programs are keeping up!
Our latest research project, "From Classroom to Client," explores how different programs teach essential AT skills—like fabrication, fitting, and high-tech simulations. Research shows that while students benefit from hands-on learning, there is still a "misalignment" between what is taught in school and what is needed in the clinic.
We are looking for participants to help us identify the best ways to prepare the next generation of OTs for modern practice.
Join the study: If you are the program director or the primary AT course instructor of an OTD or MOT program in the ACOTE accreditation, candidacy, or preaccreditation status, please take a moment to participate in our study.
Click below to participate in our brief research survey!
Voluntary participation involves completing an anonymous online survey (15–20 minutes). For questions, contact: Douglas Rakoski, OTD, OTR/L (717-264-2114)
