On behalf of Avenues of Change I would like to take this moment to acknowledge all of the amazing mothers we have in the community that have supported us over the years.

Thank you for not just attending our events or workshop but going the extra mile to invite another family to our events and workshop. When we are short volunteers you have stepped in to help out. Many of you have helped decorate and stayed late to help clean up.

You have been our greatest teacher to learn how to empower our children and reach more families. Have a beautiful mothers day and we will see many of you at Summer camp🫶🙌

After earning the trust from parents in the community from having a successful arts and crafts event parents suggested we have an Easter Egg Hunt. Our parents in Kensington told us stories of when they were children Easter egg activities they would do at local churches in the neighborhood. As they were sharing their Easter memories they began to cry because many of those activities that strengthen the community no longer exist.

We started doing our Easter Egg Hunt to continue the tradition of empowering families in the community. Over the years we have noticed the joy the Egg Hunt brings to the community.

Come out for an afternoon packed with FUN—enjoy games, egg dyeing, a photo booth, face painting, and an exciting egg hunt for the kids! 🎨🥚📸
