We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to and Sandy Brown for taking the time to visit MECCA and learn more about the work we do every day for children and families in our community.

For more than 12 years, MECCA has been a lifeline for some of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable children—children facing trauma, loss, housing instability, and other life challenges. We believe every child deserves access to a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early learning environment where they can grow, heal, and thrive.

Stacey, Sandy and are helping support our mission by championing the resources that make a difference for our children. High-quality early education leads to stronger reading skills, improved self-regulation, greater confidence, and long-term success. Yet many of the critical supports our children need—including mental health services, behavioral support, and specialized staffing—are not fully funded through state programs.

That is why partnerships, advocacy, and community support matter so much.

Thank you, Jeff, Stacey and Sandy, for standing with MECCA and helping us continue to provide children with the care, education, and support they deserve. Together, we are investing in brighter futures for Philadelphia’s children. 🌟
