The Playhouse is located in Upper Darby, just across from West Philadelphia, along the Cobbs Creek Trail. The Playhouse is accessible by the 42 bus route and not far from the Market Frankford Line. My home has a ground floor playroom that is our main classroom space. We are directly across the street from a nature trail and we walk along the trail to three different neighboring playgrounds. Feelings, like weather can change quickly and also be all mixed up. Helping young children identify and name their feelings can help process them and develop their emotional regulation and social skills. There’s lots of room for all the feels at the Playhouse. ☀️🌧🌩

At the Playhouse we honor Black history year round and also celebrate Black History Month in February. It’s important to start conversations about race and equality from an early age. Children a literature is a wonderful jumping off point and resource for families.
