Participant Center 05/04/2017

We're just about 2 days away from Walk MS 2017 at the Please Touch Museum and we are sooooo excited and ready to make a difference! Anyone who is interested in walking or running with RAD for a good cause you still have time to join the team. Monetary contributions are great but not necessary to participate. Hope you can make it out to this wonderful family friendly event.

Ok peeps so we are just about 30 days away from our 3rd annual Walk MS family community service event and I can barely keep it together!! I just love to see how families and friends come out and band together for this amazing event. The past two years we served as a cheer team but this year we're switching it up just a lil bit 🤗 that's right...we are hitting the streets! Team RAD Runners is running/walking the good walk to fight MS. Please join our team...your donations in any amount mean everything!! Last year, with about 25 people we raised about $150...but I think we can do better. Imagine this 💭 if we can double our team to 50 people and each person donates at least $5 bucks...our collective donation could double last years total!! Every little bit counts. Here's another thought 💭 even if you can't contribute a monetary donation this time, your presence at the Walk MS event speaks volumes! So think about it & let me know. Let me help your register your family or group to join the RAD Runners team for Walk MS on Saturday, May 6th. Contact Khadijah at [email protected]

Why The Giving Tree Makes You Cry (and It’s Not Why You Think) 03/08/2017

One of our favorite RAD reads, The Giving Tree does seem to have an emotional effect on grown-ups. Such a lovely story with a great message for kids but a definite thought-provoking-tear-jerker for grown folk.

Why The Giving Tree Makes You Cry (and It’s Not Why You Think) Like many parents before me, I read The Giving Tree to my child and started crying. So I set out to discover why.
