Love this 🧡🧡🧡

What an amazing young man!

"A 13-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with a critical illness, has shown the ultimate giving spirit, after he chose to feed the homeless with his ‘Make-A-Wish’ opportunity instead of using it on something just for him.

Adeola "Abraham" Olagbegi and his mother, Miriam, have a passion for taking care of the homeless around their neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi. But this year they got some extra help thanks Make-A-Wish and Abraham’s selfless action.

Back in 2020, Abraham was diagnosed with aplastic anemia – a condition that causes the body to stop producing enough new blood cells, leaving patients fatigued and more prone to infection.

Abraham later underwent a successful bone marrow transplant and found out he qualified to have one of his dreams fulfilled through Make-A-Wish.

But it wasn’t long before Abraham decided on the perfect wish – one that would continue the mission that became oh so special to the boy and his mother.

"I remember we were coming home from one of his doctor appointments and he said, 'Mom, I thought about it, and I really want to feed the homeless,'" Miriam Olagbegi told CBS News.

So, with help from Make-A-Wish, Abraham fed over 80 people around Jackson in September. And to make his wish more impactful, Make-A-Wish said they would help Abraham feed the homeless in Jackson every third Saturday until August 2022 -- ensuring that he can help even more people in need.

"When the homeless people get the plate, some of them would come back and sing to us and thank us," Abraham said. "And it just really feels good, it warms our hearts. And my parents always taught us that it's a blessing to be a blessing."

And although he used his wish opportunity on others, Abraham ended up receiving a few gifts from Make-A-Wish anyway, including a new laptop, ring light, and microphone to help him start a YouTube channel.

He also plans to start a non-profit called "Abraham's Table" to continue his mission.

"We're just very excited to be able to continue on this endeavor. It's just so rewarding," Miriam said. (📸 Make-A-Wish America )
