Protect Your Reward of Laylatul Qadr

Tonight may be Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree) — the most powerful and blessed night of Ramadan. Allah tells us in the Qur’an that Laylatul Qadr is better than 1,000 months of worship.

This means one night of sincere prayer, duʿā’, and Qur’an could be rewarded like more than 83 years of worship.

Spend the night in the masjid or at home in ʿitikāf from Maghrib until Fajr, focusing on prayer, dhikr, and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. Avoid distractions and stay away from social media so you can fully benefit from this sacred night.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us this special duʿā’ for Laylatul Qadr:

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love to forgive, so forgive me.”

May Allah allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr and accept all our worship. Ameen.
