The below quoted text was posted today by Richard Branson. 🤨How often do you make sure all is well with yourself before expanding your energy and time distribution?

“I have a theory called Circles. Begin by drawing a circle around yourself and make sure everything inside your circle is going well. Is your work-life balance in sync? Are you staying healthy? Once you are confident in yourself, widen the circle to include your loved ones. Once they are thriving, start thinking about the bigger picture and do all you can to help others. If you have a small business, make a difference in your neighbourhood. Then as you grow, draw a bigger circle around your city. Next, try to have a positive impact across your country. Finally, draw a last circle around the world. Maybe even the universe one day…”

🧐Did you know there are 3 types of empathy: cognitive, emotional, and compassionate? Being familiar with and practicing these three types of empathy help us connect with others, understand their experiences, and respond in a caring and supportive way.

🌟Left Side (Cognitive Empathy): This is the ability to understand another person's perspective or mental state. It's about thinking and knowing what someone else might be feeling or thinking without necessarily sharing their emotions. Cognitive empathy helps in understanding others' emotions and situations. This image shows a person thoughtfully observing another individual with a neutral expression, perhaps with a thought bubble that shows a brain or gears turning. This side emphasizes understanding someone else's perspective intellectually.

🌟Middle Section (Emotional Empathy): This is the ability to actually feel what another person is feeling. When you see someone in pain, emotional empathy allows you to experience a similar emotional response. It's an automatic, emotional response to the emotions of others. In the middle of the shared image, emotional empahy is shown by two people facing each other, both with tear-filled eyes, showing a mirrored emotional reaction. This part highlights the direct sharing of emotions.

🌟Right Side (Compassionate Empathy): This goes beyond understanding and feeling others' emotions. Compassionate empathy involves not only recognizing what someone else is going through but also being moved to help them. It’s empathy in action, where the focus is on caring and offering support. In the far right part of the shared image, compassionate empathy is shown by a person comforting another by offering a helping hand or a warm embrace, with a heart symbol glowing or radiating between them. This side represents not just understanding and sharing emotions, but also taking action to help.
