Advancing in thought and action Students attend second annual Women’s March on Philadelphia The Women’s March on Philadelphia brought thousands of activists to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the second consecutive year. It was one of more than 600 rallies across the country and around the world that took place on Jan. 20

SJU Earth Week is approaching! CFPA has two great events planned so mark your calendars:

Wednesday, April 26th: Join us at 6:30 pm in the Cardinal Foley center for a screening of "Groundswell Rising", an inspiring documentary about a grassroots movement challenging the oil and gas industry. Director , will be in attedence and will answer questions after the film.

Thursday, April 27th: Swing by Campion Courtyard at FREE PERIOD for our "Hug A Tree" event. Come enjoy food, music, and grab some information about how you can impact the climate justice movement.

Don't forget to come to the Perch tonight at 6:30 for our Nuclear Panel!!!

NUGGETS NUGGETS NUGGETS!!! CFPA's Nukes & Nuggets Event is tomorrow at 6:30 in the Perch. GREAT SPEAKERS AND GREAT FOOD!! Come out and enjoy some chicken nuggets while you listen to renowned speakers talk about nuclear issues!

Tomorrow in Doyle Banquet Hall South we are holding an informational meeting on nuclear weapons and energy sources tomorrow (3/29) from 6:00-7:00 pm! This meeting is in preparation for our panel event, Nukes & Nuggets, next week on Wednesday, April 5!! Join our discussion on the issues nuclear proliferation poses to global peace. Hope to see you there!

Tomorrow night from 6:00-7:00 pm in Doyle Banquet Hall South we will be having an informational meeting and nuclear "crash course" in preparation for the Nukes and Nuggets event next week! We will be discussing proliferation and the threat nuclear weapons pose to peace. Hope to see you there!
