Honeyland Child Care Center

Honeyland Child Care Center Honeyland is a child care center located in Willow Grove. It is" One of the Best Kept Secrets in Montgomery County. This program runs from 3:30pm untill 5:30pm.

Honeyland Childcare Center is an independently run program created in recognition that children are our most important resource. We are happy to be an equal opportunity care provider. With the demands of society today, many moms and dads find themselves needing to share that care with others. Honeyland provides a safe haven for children while their parents are unable to be with them. Throughout the day, the children take part in a variety of age appropriate activities to stimulate growth of body, mind and spirit. The loving, caring staff provides activities to stimulate creativity, imagination, reasoning skills, fine motor and large motor coordination. Class sizes are small for individualized attention, and provide preparation for entry into kindergarten. There is a fenced outdoor play yard, and morning and afternoon snacks are provided. The school is open year-round, providing a daily childcare for working parents. Honeyland also provides an after school program to children that attend Upper Moreland Primary School. The bus drops off the children at honeyland and we provide snack, activities and homework assistants.

We were delighted to welcome Senator Maria Collett, Bailey Landis, Communications Director, and Carol Austin and Jackie Groetsch from First Up to Honeyland on Monday!

It was wonderful to have them spend time with our children, with Senator Collett reading to the children and joining them in a fun activity. We truly appreciate their time, interest, and commitment to supporting children, families, and early educators.

Thank you, Senator Collett, Bailey, Carol, and Jackie, for visiting Honeyland and for your continued support of early learning and the families we serve!

Last week was reptile week, and it was off the scales! Ms. Toby slithered in with her scaly crew: a ball python, a bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko. The children enjoyed learning all about her reptiles! Some children were brave enough to pet the reptiles, while others just liked to observe. Some of our staff got in on the action too.
