The Free Library will be offering virtual career exploration seminars throughout the month of May. These small group discussions will provide an open space for students to talk with their peers and library staff members about their career interests.

The Octavius Catto Scholarship 04/21/2021

Community College of Philadelphia is now recruiting eligible students to attend college debt-free this fall through the Octavius Catto Scholarship. In addition to receiving funding to cover last-dollar tuition costs, Catto Scholars also receive:
- Funding to cover the cost of books
- Supplemental funding for transportation and meals
- Enhanced academic success and career coaching
- Specialized workshops and programming
- Connections to existing resources like housing assistance and child care

The Octavius Catto Scholarship Mayor Jim Kenney proposed an important new anti-poverty initiative designed to put more Philadelphians on the path to success at Community College of Philadelphia.
