Good morning! Winter has finally caught up with us, so all Neshaminy schools will be CLOSED today (Thursday January 4) for students and teachers. After-school and evening activities are also cancelled. Offices will be open.

Students at Tawanka Elementary School check out a display of books donated by Colonial Subaru in Feasterville as part of the automaker's Subaru Loves Learning campaign. Erica Kopp, Business Manager and Michael Britland, Delivery Specialist at Colonial stopped by the school Monday to deliver the books in person. The students are wearing red headbands they made to celebrate Constitution Day.

Did you know that today is Flag Day? And did you also know Pennsylvania was the first state to make it a state holiday (in 1937)? Our Tawanka first-graders know all about it and staged a patriotic concert last night for their families and this morning for their classmates to celebrate. Here are a few excerpts from their performance this morning...

A plaque dedication ceremony will take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 7 at the entrance to Tawanka Elementary School at 6:30 pm. You are welcome to stop by and join in the celebration! We thank the Tawanka EarlyAct students for their planned participation. EarlyAct is a school-wide service club for elementary students and is sponsored by the Feasterville and Langhorne Rotary Clubs.
