Hello everybody!
I hope you’re all enjoying the tastes of Spring poking through as much as I am. I’ve put lots of thought into what to offer for the Spring semester and have come to the decision that things will look much different this semester: I will not be offering a formal spring semester with weekly classes and tuition options, and instead I’ll be offering frequent pop-up classes at various times and locations.
The unfortunate fact is that I do not have the bandwidth at this time to run this business on my own in its full capacity. Amidst this oppressive political climate (to put it lightly), my partner and I are begrudgingly preparing to move abroad, which is intensely draining. In addition, a dearest loved one, who lives nearby, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last month. The prognosis is optimistic, but it has certainly caused a shift in priorities. I love the boosts of energy and happiness I get from music class, and I’m hoping that this adjusted approach will allow me to continue engaging with you all in the way I love, creating musical magic and memories, without burning out.
As always, my guiding goal is to build community through music. I know that this is especially important for q***r families and others who are currently experiencing horrifying attacks on our rights and safety. I remain committed to creating inclusive and affirming spaces in every event to come.
🎶 SO, WHEN IS YOUR NEXT CHANCE TO COME TO A MUSIC CLASS?!
