Last spring, we raised $1,200 to lay roofs, tile floors, and install electricity for the Amenuveve Orphanage construction in Denu, Ghana.
The first photo depicts our partners, Simon, president of STAESA (right) and Koku, regional contractor (left), finishing up the piping.
The second photo depicts the inner layout of one of the orphanage homes, which will house eight beds and a kitchen for eight children.

Aside from the beautiful landscape and nearly perfect weather, the kids in Aflao, Ghana are the politest and sweetest! They'll help you gather sea shells from Aflao beach.
Consider volunteering with us next July; volunteer applications open September after updates on WACV's summer program and website.
Two of our members have arrived in Ghana to start the 2013 WACV Summer Program, with the others arriving in the matter of less than two weeks!
