Our Annual Distinguished Speaker Series event is on the way!

This year’s program features the dynamically talented and hilarious, 31st Critics’ Choice Award winning Actress and Comedian, Janelle James!

Please join us on Thursday, March 19th, 2025 at 7:00PM in the Temple Performing Arts Center for an evening of engaging Q&A.

This event is free for Temple University Students, Staff & Faculty and is closed to the public & media.

The Official night at the 76ers is approaching on February 19th and we have some details to share about amazing opportunities for Temple students, faculty & staff. We’ve included much of it below!

GAME INFO

Enjoy specialty priced tickets to the 76ers vs. Atlanta Hawks game, a 25th-anniversary edition rally towel and early access to pre-game warm-ups. The first 250 ticket buyers will also receive a co-branded winter hat! We’ve added the link to the event page to our bio.

PRE GAME PROFESSIONAL PANEL

Temple Owls are also invited to attend a Professional in Sports Career Panel, featuring:

· Mike Goings, vice president for social responsibility and fan development, Philadelphia 76ers

· Ryan Bevilacqua, premium manager of member services, Philadelphia 76ers

· Morgan Pivovarnik, manager of brand and creative, Philadelphia 76ers.

This event will include a moderated discussion, student Q&A, and networking opportunities. Game tickets are required to attend the panel discussion.

Time: 2-3:30PM at the Xfinity Mobile Arena

Remember that event we said we would spin back to? 👀🏀

We will have a (very limited) amount of heavily discounted student tickets for the 76ers game this Wednesday, January 14th against the Cavs at 7PM.

Tickets will be available for $10 first-come, first served, one per student at 11AM tomorrow at the HGSC Box Office, located on the lower level south of the Howard Gittis Student Center.

Tickets will be available until either sold out or 1PM, whichever comes first! Please have your OwlCard & email associated with your Ticketmaster account.

Tickets will be distributed digitally on Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday morning.
