Day 4 we arrived in Venice where we toured the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica. After some free time to explore the city, our whole group was able to go to a glass making demo for Murano glass and then a gondola ride through the canals! 🛶🇮🇹🎶

Day 3 of our tour took us to Cremona where we went to Il Museo Violino that houses priceless stringed instruments made by master luthiers like Stradivarius and Amati. We were able to see a beautiful concert performed on an Amati Violin. During free time some of our travelers braved the 502 steps to the top of the Tower of Cremona for beautiful views of the city. After lunch we toured the Academia Cremonensis, an international academy of violin and bow making! 🎻🇮🇹🎶

On June 1 the Music Department departed Philadelphia for our 2026 Tour of Italy and Austria! First stop was Verona where we took a guided city tour where we saw the sights of the city like the Arena of Verona and Romeo and Juliet’s houses.
