S*x ed WORKS. It gives young people the tools, knowledge, and skills they need to succeed in life.
I’m tired of more states requiring medically inaccurate, abstinent-only, culturally incompetent fear-based programming that shame and judge young people!
Thats why I created the Miseducation of S*x Education Curriculum©️ to ensure that young people, well really people of all ages have access to pleasure and whole person centered experiences and education about their s*xual and reproductive health!

Hey Rosebuds 🌹
If you’re new here, let me reintroduce myself real quick. I’m Mystkue Woods, your favorite neighborhood s*xuality educator, artist, and public health girlie who believes we deserve better conversations about our bodies, our pleasure, and our healing.
I do this work through a Black feminist lens, which means I center us. Our stories. Our experiences. Our right to feel, learn, question, and choose without shame.
I mix art with public health because honestly, we were never meant to learn about s*x and wellness in cold, clinical ways. So I bring in poetry, storytelling, movement, and real conversation to make it make sense and feel like something.
Through Mystkue Publications, I create workshops, curriculum, and campaigns like Black Women PrEP Too that speak to us in ways that feel honest, affirming, and real.
What I offer
• Workshops that feel like conversations, not lectures
• Curriculum that actually reflects real life
• Community campaigns that center culture and care
• Consulting for folks ready to do this work differently
This space is for unlearning what was never for us and stepping into what is.

Hey Rosebuds🌹 quick reality check from your girl… apparently sharing your work in academic spaces can come with a cost attached. Not shocking when you think about how access and legitimacy are often controlled, but it definitely made me pause.
What it didn’t do is shake my commitment to creating and sharing work that centers us, speaks truth, and exists beyond permission. I’ve been building something close to my heart and I’m proud of it. Stay tuned, it’s coming soon✨

Rosebuds 🌹,
I’m currently seeking a full-time research position in s*xual and reproductive health!
With a background in s*xuality education, community engagement, and HIV prevention, I’m looking to deepen my work in research, specifically in study design, community-engaged methods, and translating lived experiences into meaningful data.
My work centers Black women, pleasure-informed frameworks, and culturally responsive approaches to care.
If you know of opportunities, are hiring, or open to connecting, I’d love to be in conversation.

I won’t lie, this season has been heavy.
PhD denials that made me pause and question the path I’ve been working toward.
Work stress that has been pulling at every corner of my energy.
And the quiet grief that comes with the loss of a relationship you once imagined would last longer.
Some days it feels like everything hit at once.
But music has a funny way of reminding you of who you are when life tries to make you forget. Lately that reminder has been coming through Sammie.
Tsunami reminds me that I am still a force. Even when I feel overwhelmed, there is still power moving through me. The same energy, passion, and spirit that built everything I’ve built hasn’t disappeared just because life got hard.
And Amazing reminds me that even when I’m tired, grieving, or uncertain… I’m still that woman. The one who shows up with heart, creativity, and purpose. The one who keeps loving, building, and dreaming even after disappointment.
So thank you for sharing your voice and spirit with the world. Your music caught me in 1999 and has always reminded me when I needed to remember my own strength.
This season may feel like waves crashing all at once…
but I’m still standing in the water.
Still powerful.
Still becoming.
Still amazing.

Rosebuds 🌹,
Waiting is its own kind of work. This season has asked me to trust the process even when the outcome isn’t clear.
If you’ve ever doubted yourself and things still aligned in time, what affirmation helped you keep going? Share a word of hope below.

Rosebuds 🌹,
Wisdom grows where curiosity lives!
February is Black History Month, during this time it is imperative that we honor the voices of our ancestors and those who are trailblazing our understanding of healing, joy, justice, love, pleasure, resistance, and Beyond.
We bloom by learning from those who came before us and continue to pour into our collective becoming.
