Every kiddo was restless and buzzing with cheer.
The countdown calendar hung with great care,
In hopes that an AMAZING camp soon would be there.

The kiddos were dreaming of rockets and slime,
Of robots and coding and having a time.
And me with my laptop, and my very long list,
Checking off camps so that nothing gets missed.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
The answer to summer — it was suddenly clear!

I called to my kiddos to come have a look,
They gathered around like a page from a book.
Their eyes grew so wide and their smiles so bright,
I knew right then that we'd chosen just right!

I clicked and I scrolled and I filled out the form,
For a summer of wonder that's far from the norm.
The counselors are caring, the activities planned,
This wasn't just camp — it was something quite grand!

And just like that, summer was suddenly set,
The most exciting season for our kiddos yet.
