This Tuesday! 9:30am, 130 McNeil Building: join Julie McWilliams, PhD candidate at GSE, and Elaine Simon, Co-Director of the Urban Studies Program, for a discussion of Philadelphia’s AY 2013-2014 “doomsday” district budget as it has played out in one diverse neighborhood school.
McWilliams will propose an analysis of field and interview data from an ethnographic project in Johnson High, which has consistently landed on the “school closures list”...
