Instant Replay

Sorry for the delay in activity over the past year and a half. We look forward to restarting Instant RePlay this summer and next school year, so start saving those toys!

It's been a busy few weeks! Thank you to Michelle and Lucia Erickson and Taryn Perkins for their help in packing up HUNDREDS of toys and books. Donations went to NorthEast Treatment Center, Penn Law Clinic, Mastery Charter School, Anti-Violence Partnership, Jefferson Hospital, HIAS PA, and the Nationalities Service Center. Whew! Thank you to everyone who helped to forge these partnerships and to donate items, and stay tuned for more collections this spring!

Thank you, trusty helpers, for packing up more than 300 items for NorthEast Treatment Centers! The bulk of the items came from Awbury Arboretum's collection -- thank you! If anyone has gently used toys that you'd like to donate, let me know. I won't have another active collection until January, but we can coordinate a drop-off/pick-up and I can hold them until then. I know that desire to clean house, especially during the holiday!

Each Instant RePlay collection overwhelms me with gratitude and reinforces me with connections and relationships. This past one came during a particularly shaky week in our society, and it kindled my hope in what we can accomplish through support and generosity.

Thanks to everyone who donated gently used toys at The Schuylkill Center Nature Preschool during October and November, and a special thanks to Shannon Dryden, manager of the Nature Preschool, who helped coordinate our second successful collection at SCEE!

Thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped to sort, clean, and pack up the 250+ donations -- Michelle Niedermeier, Taryn Perkins, Young Kim, and Laura Matheny, plus the incredible kids who also pitched in.

Finally, thanks to Belinda at Children's Crisis Treatment Center for making this partnership with Instant RePlay so seamless and for the powerful work that you do.
