Happy 100th Birthday to Roman alumnus and World War II veteran John Donald “Bud” Munro, Sr.!
A proud graduate of Roman Catholic High School, Bud enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Forces at just 17 years old and served his country with honor during World War II. Since then, he has built an extraordinary life centered on faith, family, service, and community.
From his decades-long involvement at St. Titus Church and the St. Titus Athletic Club to his career as a skilled television repairman, Bud has embodied dedication, humility, and lifelong learning. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he and his wife, Mary, will celebrate 80 years of marriage later this year.
As Bud celebrates a century of life, we honor his legacy of service, perseverance, leadership, and love. Happy 100th Birthday, Bud, and thank you for being an inspiring example for generations of Cahillites.

Creativity was on full display at Roman Catholic!
On Wednesday, May 20, our band, chorus, art, and digital photography students proudly showcased their talents for family and friends at the Howard Center for the Arts. From musical performances to impressive visual displays, the evening was a true celebration of the creativity and dedication of our Cahillites.
A special thank you to Mrs. Gallagher, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Pensabene, and Mr. Taylor for their passion, guidance, and continued commitment to the arts at Roman.
The arts continue to thrive at Broad and Vine!

Last week, we welcomed the Class of 2030!
All future Cahillites were recognized for their scholarships, had the chance to register for sports and clubs, hear from the administration, and walk the halls that will shape them into respectful, resilient, and responsible young men over the next four years.
Welcome, Class of 2030!

History came to life at Roman as Ben Franklin visited campus in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary! 🇺🇸
During his visit, Ben spent the lunch period with our students, played bingo, and shared stories and lessons about the history of Philadelphia and the founding of our nation.
A memorable day of learning, laughter, and patriotism for the entire Roman community!
