Saint George was a sea of pink today as our Dragons came together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🩷

Breast cancer has touched the lives of so many members of our Saint George family, making today’s show of love and support even more meaningful.

Today, we wore pink to support those currently fighting, celebrate survivors, and remember those we’ve lost. 💕

This afternoon, Mr. Waskiewicz and our 8th Grade SGA Officers joined over 1,200 students and administrators from across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools - AOPS at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul for a special celebration honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

What a beautiful opportunity to come together in faith and prayer with other Catholic schools!

Our 5th graders led today’s Family Liturgy by reading, serving, and bringing the Gospel to life! We are so proud of our Dragons for sharing their faith in such a meaningful way! 🐉

Our entire Saint George Family mourns the tragic loss of Philadelphia Police Officer, Shane Seiber, beloved husband of former SGS teacher, Mrs. Lisa Harrell Seiber.

Please join us in prayer for Officer Seiber’s soul, for his entire family, and for his fellow PPD Officers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
