Archbishop Wood Catholic High School A Tradition of Excellence for the Leaders of Tomorrow.

VIKING TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
Students attending Archbishop Wood continue the Viking tradition of excellence in all aspects of our school’s life. Most importantly, each of our students is committed to being the best person he or she can be, taking care of each other and those in the community who are less fortunate. Wood fosters an environment that promotes understanding and tolerance of the vari

ed and multi-faceted cultures and traditions of our increasingly global community. Archbishop Wood High School is led by a dedicated administration, faculty and staff who provide the highest level of scholastic excellence and pride to support the school’s Catholic mission of service to our students and their families.

This past weekend, Archbishop Wood alumni Shannon Muncer ‘26 and Chloe Casper ‘26 visited their former teacher Joe Conte at the Bird in Hand Reenactment, part of Newtown’s 250th celebration!

Inspired by Mr. Conte’s passion for history during their time at Wood, the two made the trip out to see history come to life firsthand. We are proud to have teachers who leave a mark that goes far beyond the classroom.

As we prepare for another exciting school year, we’ll be painting the third-floor hallway tiles to give our school a fresh new look for the students who will follow in your footsteps. No painting experience is necessary. We’ll provide all the supplies, lunch, refreshments, music, and plenty of Viking spirit.

At Archbishop Wood, we believe leadership doesn’t end at graduation, it grows stronger through a lifetime of service. We hope the NextGen Vikings Class of 2026 Volunteer Day becomes the first of many opportunities for your class to stay connected, give back, and inspire those who follow.

Whether you can stay for the entire day or just a few hours, we would love to have you with us.

Please RSVP by August 7th by completing Registration From!
