This just in, Andrea Modica rocks! Photography Program at Drexel University
Just released from the Akron Art Museum:
"Andrea Modica is the recipient of the Akron Art Museum’s 2015 John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Purchase Award. Established in 1990 by an endowment gift from the Foundation, the award is given to a living artist working with photographic media. The Knight award publicly recognizes artists’ achievements and funds the museum’s purchase of their work. Attached is a list of past recipients."
Along with the award, Andrea will have a solo exhibition at the Akron Art Museum which will open in October, 2015 and run until March, 2016.
Her new book As We Wait, published by Grafiche dell'Artiere will be used at the catalogue for the show.

Mark Willie has been recognized by GDUSA for two winning entries in that magazines In House Graphic Design competition: Museum Leadership Graduate Program conference poster for Cultural Properties, and Westphal College Summer Programs design materials. Both projects will be publish in the upcoming In House Awards issue. Great job Mark, We're so proud!
