What a season for Storm Athletics!

Our athletes, coaches, and volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the spring season, and their hard work paid off. See below for a note from our Athletic Director, Julie Sarver, and a link to the full Storm Athletics Spring Recap!

"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of the volunteer coaches who stepped up to coach our student-athletes. As a coach myself, I know how much time, thought, effort, and care go into coaching, and I truly appreciate everything you do. Thank you as well for obtaining and submitting all of the required clearances to make our programs possible. . . Most importantly, thank you to our student-athletes. Without you, none of this would matter. It is a privilege to support you both on and off the field and to watch you grow throughout each season. Your effort, determination, and teamwork are inspiring, and I am proud of all that you accomplish.
Congratulations to all of our teams, athletes, coaches, and families on a successful spring season. I look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall."

On May 20, our Grade 8 students presented empathy-driven “Welcome Kit” solutions designed for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region during their Final Showcase hosted in partnership with 901 Education and Jefferson University!

Throughout the school year, Grade 8 students participated in a service leadership entrepreneurship program connecting classroom learning to real-world community impact. Working alongside local professionals, universities, nonprofits and business volunteers, students explored entrepreneurship, design thinking, marketing, communication and problem-solving while developing projects to help improve the experience of families staying at RMHC Philly.

The event also featured keynote remarks from Tina Phillips, co-founder of Famous 4th Street Cookie Company and longtime supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region. The Final Showcase celebrated student work while highlighting ways community partnerships can create sustainable impact for students and families. Thank you to our partners and all who joined us!

On Tuesday, May 6, we held our annual Art Showcase! This year, students were asked to create sculptures out of cardboard. Guests were blown away by their finished projects! Congratulations to our students and Ms. McCoy on a wonderful showcase!

On Tuesday, June 9, we inducted the Class of 2026 into our Alumni Circle at our Alumni Pinning Ceremony! Each graduate received a Saint Mary lapel pin commemorating their transition from Saint Mary student to Saint Mary alum.

Seventeen of our Grade 8 students also received a Saint Mary Legacy pin, acknowledging that they have been attending Saint Mary Interparochial School since kindergarten!

We were also honored to welcome Otis Shenk and Charles Krakauskas as our keynote speakers for this year's alumni pinning ceremony. Proud alumni of Saint Mary Interparochial School, Class of 2023, both Otis and Charles recently graduated from Roman Catholic High School, Class of 2026. Otis will be attending the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business., and Charles will be attending Temple University in the fall to play rugby and study Nursing.

After the ceremony, our newest Alumni Circle members and our guests were treated to Mr. Softee.

We wish all our Saint Mary Alumni luck as they begin their next educational chapters! Congratulations, Class of 2026!
