As we reflect on September 11, we acknowledge a day that forever transformed our nation and the world. On that tragic morning in 2001, lives were shattered and families torn apart, with nearly 3,000 individuals lost from diverse backgrounds.

September 11 serves not only as a day of mourning but also as a testament to unity. In the aftermath, communities rallied together, rising above differences in race and religion, displaying flags and holding vigils.

We were reminded that even in our darkest moments, we can come together to support one another through grief.

Today, as we commemorate this day, let us honor the resilience that has shaped our journey since then. We have faced new challenges, yet we remain steadfast in our commitment to compassion and understanding.

At 8:46 a.m. today, let us pause for a moment of silence to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who answered the call in our darkest hour. May we strive to build a world where love triumphs over hate and peace prevails over discord.
