As my mentor always reminds me! "You got time but you don't got time". To all my students are you doing your summer reading? School will be back before you know it. How are you spending your time? No time or opportunities wasted!
Parents this summer what's the plan for your student? There will be someone telling them certain things they shouldn't be doing. For the past few assemblies majority Of the students said to me "Mike, I won't be doing anything over the summer". They will be doing SOMETHING over the summer, it just depends on if it's beneficial or not. I'd love to talk to you and your child about putting together a plan to keep them on track for the summer. I tell students all the time the 1st thing I need you to do is BELIEVE! You are smart enough to pass that course, you are smart enough to get that diploma or DEGREE. Belief takes 0 money and 0 studying to do. What would happen if you took the 1st step and you BELIEVED?
