✨ Hi! I’m Jennifer, the owner of July Sunshine Doula Services and a certified Newborn Care Specialist, Breastfeeding Educator, Birth & Postpartum Doula. My passion is providing compassionate overnight postpartum support so new parents can get the rest they need during those precious (and exhausting!) newborn weeks.

As your Overnight Postpartum Doula, I provide:

🍼 Bottle preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of bottles and breast pump parts
🧺 Light household tasks, including baby laundry, household laundry, and clean dishes
🍽️ Meal preparation when baby’s needs and time allow
🤱 Breastfeeding support with practical tips, encouragement, and guidance to help make your feeding journey smoother

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, my goal is to help you feel rested, supported, and confident as you adjust to life with your newest little one.

April will always hold a special place in my heart. 🌿

It’s Cesarean Awareness Month… and also the month I became a mother through an emergency C-section with one of my sons.

It wasn’t the birth I had imagined.
It wasn’t the plan I had carefully prepared for.
And in the moment, it felt overwhelming, fast, and completely out of my control.

But what I didn’t realize then…
was just how powerful that moment truly was.

Because that birth—my birth—was still sacred.
It was still strong.
It was still mine.

My body didn’t fail me.
My body carried me and my baby through exactly what we needed in that moment. 🤍

Years later, as a doula, I hold space for families walking through all kinds of birth stories—including Cesarean births. And I see it so clearly now:
