" Unsung Guitar Heros " The genius of John Fogarty. Though Rickenbacker guitars are not usually used for lead guitar, John Fogarty managed to carve out one of the most unique sounds in Rock and Roll by plugging his "Rick into a less common "Kustom" amp .. His lead work fit so well into his songs, that he isn't thought of as a guitar hero, but rest assured, HE IS !!

Bucks County Guitar presents "Unsung Heroes of the Guitar" .. Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson of the band "Canned Heat".. In an era of psychedelic rock he was playing electric blues with an originality all its own. He would unfortunately become one of the first members of the "27 club" in 1970.. But he's not forgotten..
