𼰠this is something I will always be thankful for.
I have a very love/hate relationship with this app. From ever changing guidelines and platform choices, to time sucks while scrolling, to fighting with the algorithm, to feeling like Iâm putting in 10000% to get .01% backâŚI have been spending less and less time and energy on here.
BUT. Then I log back on, after a couple of days or weeks away, and I find messages like this and I remember why Iâm here in the first place.
This message is from a client I worked with 4 years ago. She became a dear friend, and this app has kept us connected beyond our time working together. In fact, itâs this app that brought us together in the first place.
Now, this is not to say Iâll be back on here daily. Because, thatâs just probably not going to happen đ
But, it is a reminder (to myself and anyone else who needs to hear it) that there is still connection to be had in this space. And thatâs what it was for in the first place â¨
Itâs also a reminder to tell those people in your life (personal AND professional) that you are thankful for that they mean so much to you. It likely means more to them to hear it than you even realize. đ
Ironically, itâs also very on theme as we wrap up Thanksgiving week and head right into the heart of the holiday season.
Iâve been thinking a lot about thankfulness / gratitude and its role in our lives & businesses. In fact, I wrote a blog about it. If youâd like to check it out, you know where to find it âşď¸

Last weekend, I was lucky enough to attend a workshop at the beautiful and amazing in NYâs Hudson Valley.
Iâve been so fortunate to work with my amazing client and the team for 2.5+ years now, and it was so lovely to see everyone in person and get the chance to learn from some amazing nature and botanical artists! The workshops this team puts together are top-notch and the community they have created is so welcoming and warm.
They are so welcoming, they even allowed me to bring my family along for the weekend. 𼰠My 8-year-old daughter has declared herself an artist-in-training and spent the whole weekend doing workshops, watching artist talks, and taking nature walks with me ((so thankful for such amazing quality time!)) And my husband and son popped in and out, spending equal times drawing and exploring the amazing Ashokan grounds.
