Jubilee showed up and showed out at or annual Spring Concert! Our students shined so brightly on stage and filled the room with so much joy, confidence, and talent. From the music to the smiles to the cheering families, every moment reminded us how special our Jubilee community truly is.
Thank you to our amazing students, teachers, staff, and families for making the night so memorable. We are so proud of every child who stepped on that stage!

Yesterday was the first day of our Fill the Calendar Fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by the end of May. Here’s how it works:
-Use the link in our bio to create a “TeamFi” account
-Once you have set up an account, you will have a personal donation link to share. You can also add contacts directly into TeamFi.
-Share your link with family, friends, and community members and ask them to “claim a day” by donating the amount that matches the date. (Ex: May 3 = $3, May 15 = $15) A completed calendar = $496!
-That’s it! TeamFi tracks which days have been “claimed” for you. All you need to do is share your link and encourage your community to donate to Jubilee.

As part of our All School Study on Afrofuturism, our 4th–6th graders visited the Afrofuturism exhibit at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, and explored how art, culture, and imagination shape what’s possible!

This , support Jubilee by making a gift or inviting others to become a monthly donor!
At Jubilee, our mission has remained the same for nearly 5 decades: to create a learning environment where children think critically, express themselves boldly, and celebrate their heritage through arts and social justice centered learning. Our tuition has remained among the lowest in Philadelphia, which is possible due to community support and contributions over the years. We are filled with gratitude for the role each student, family, graduate, and community member has played in helping us continue the legacy of Jubilee.
If Jubilee has had an impact on your life, or if you know people who value what we stand for, please consider sharing our effort today.

This year, our 5th and 6th grade students have organized a “Celebration of the 1967 Freedom Walk for Black History & Culture,” honoring the participants of the Philadelphia student walkout 58 years ago.
On Monday, November 17, we’ll gather at 4:00 PM at the former Department of Education building (21st & Benjamin Franklin Parkway) and walk together to the Parkway Central Library (1901 Vine Street), where the celebration will begin at 5:00 PM with short talks by honorees, poetry, student presentations, and live jazz music by Alfie Pollitt and Robert Kenyatta.
We hope you will join us in supporting our older students as they honor this historic moment and share their own reflections and demands for justice today.
