The Junior Barber Academy is an organization focused on cultivating the next generation of barbers through a professional and entrepreneurial growth process.
Classes start every first Saturday of the month and go until the fourth Saturday. Classes are for Adults and Children

In 2016, Harvard researchers asked 400 people in anxiety spirals one question.
This one question stopped 83% of panic loops in under 90 seconds:
“What do I know for certain right now?”
Anxiety lives in “what if…”
Your brain reacts to “what if I mess up a cut” the same way it reacts to danger.
Facts = control
That’s why top performers use this before pressure moments.
But how does this apply to barbering? 💈
Before a big cut, first client, or a tough blend, barbers think:
What if I mess up?
What if I push the line back?
What if they don’t like it?
Flip the question: “What do I know for certain right now?”
1. I know I’ve practiced this.
2. I know I understand my tools.
3. I know I can take my time and fix mistakes.
The fear doesn’t leave… but it doesn’t control you.
Most beginners try to “calm down.”
The ones who get better fast focus on facts.

Some of our students are now turning 18, completing 12th grade, and preparing for the state board barber exam. Our organization, along with our brother , Master Barber Teacher at barber CTE, share a student ready for his next life adventure, and together with , we'll cross the finish line together. He has support and he’s not alone on this journey
We recently taught some of our students facial skills and skin routine with the hope they'd pamper that special lady (Moms)

From teaching barbering… to entrepreneurship… to financial literacy… to real life skills like discipline, confidence, and social-emotional growth.
I’m just sitting here proud.
Proud of where we started.
Proud of where we are.
Even more excited about where we’re going.
Our next cohort starts this Sunday and I can’t wait to meet the new students. To the young kings we serve in the schools and in the justice system — we see you. We believe in you. ✊🏾
