✨As we reflect on the events and outreach that occurred during Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to send a huge thank you to everyone who attended the 3rd Annual Rosie’s Girls Trade Fair and Congratulations to our Fall Class of 2024! ✨
Held on March 21st, National Rosie the Riveter Day, it was a day filled with energy, inspiration, and a deep appreciation for the trailblazers who paved the way for us and the next generation of women leading the charge in the electrical and building trades today. Thank you to our partners and vendors that made sure this day was impactful for students, ambassadors, apprentices, volunteers and future tradeswomen💪
A special acknowledgement goes to our incredible Guest of Honor, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry Nancy A. Walker, whose leadership continues to inspire us all, and to our amazing Keynote Speaker, the City of Philadelphia Chief Education Officer Dr. Debora Carrera, whose words lit a fire in the hearts of our graduates. 🔥
Your guidance will undoubtedly shape the future of these amazing young women!
But the real stars of the show? The 100+ talented, driven, and passionate young women who stepped up to the plate at the trade fair, taking charge of their futures and showing the world just how much power there is in the skilled building trades. ⚙️🚀 Your enthusiasm and curiosity are what will change the game for generations to come. Let’s take a moment to celebrate YOU!
As we wrap up this month of reflection and empowerment, let’s continue to champion and support women breaking barriers, smashing stereotypes, and forging new paths in industries once dominated by men. These women are the future, and the future is bright! 🌟
I couldn’t have thought of a better way to bring in a birthday 😊

We are pleased to announce the second Rosie’s Girls Trade Fair, sponsored by IBEW Local 98!
Last year, over 100 participants had the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the electrical and building trades. This trade fair offers exposure to potential career paths available to young women interested in learning more!
The Rosie’s Girls Trade Fair amplifies the message and story of Rosie the Riveter - the iconic figure that represents the contributions of women during World War II. Rosie the Riveter is celebrated on March 21 and we would like to share in the experience of celebrating women in our industry and further!
Please email [email protected] for registration information.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting WINC for a visit to learn about the opportunities available as a union electrician with IBEW Local 98.
During the visit, current apprentices with ATEI and Rosie’s Girls had the opportunity to interact with WINC to demonstrate wiring and conduit bending techniques.
Thank you to everyone that participated and we look forward to continuing the efforts to share the career opportunities for women interested in the trades!

Yesterday was National Skilled Trades Day, but the conversation continues…
A skilled trade is any occupation that requires a particular skill set, knowledge or ability. Construction Trade Careers offer education through apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships to develop what is needed to succeed.
Women represent just 2% of electricians in America. There is also a transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources that factor into the current labor shortage. Encouraging more women to enter this career can help solve that shortage and improve the gender wage gap.
This is the time to step into a rewarding career that will be present as we move into a future that understands…Women Can Do Anything!
Rosie’s Girls Pre-Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for young women to experience what it means to be an electrician and skilled tradesperson. For more information, follow us on FaceBook and Instagram
