Instructor Biography

Kevin Leupold is a goal oriented, well diversified, Law Enforcement and Military Instructor with 20 years’ experience. Kevin started his career with United States Coast Guards Pacific Area Tactical Law Enforcement Team based in San Diego, CA specializing in Counter Narcotics Operations and Maritime Law Enforcement. After separating from active duty military Kevin was recruited to work for the United States Navy’s Center for Security Forces as an Anti-Terrorism Instructor teaching maritime interdiction tactics and procedures to U.S. Navy boarding teams operating in the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean. Kevin was then recruited by the United States Marshal Service and worked on the U.S. Mexico border as a Federal Marshal conducting criminal investigations and federal law enforcement operations. After departing the Marshal Service Kevin was recruited to work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as the Deputy Program Manager for Protective Services and Training Manager at Armstrong Flight Research Center and Ames Research Center. Kevin holds multiple instructor certifications from San Diego City College, Tidewater Community College, Texas A & M, United States Air Marshals, NRA Law Enforcement Fi****ms Division, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Fi****ms Division and SafariLand Less-Lethal Weapons Defense School.
