We are so excited to officially announce that Elevated Kids is expanding to Charlotte, North Carolina!!!🌿🤍

What started as a vision rooted in compassionate, relationship-centered, neurodiversity-affirming ABA and Autism care continues to grow because of the incredible children, families, clinicians, and communities who have trusted and supported our mission along the way.

At Elevated Kids, we are committed to creating spaces where children and families feel safe, seen, understood, and empowered. Our approach to care is grounded in connection, play, compassion, and honoring the individuality and humanity of every child and family we serve.

As a BCBA-owned, husband-and-wife-run, and family-centered company, this next chapter feels especially meaningful, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue growing intentionally while bringing Elevated Kids into the Charlotte community. So honored to do this work🤍

Child-led learning means slowing down enough to notice what naturally lights a child up 🌿☀️

The swings. The puddles. The sticks. The bugs. The movement. The curiosity. The wonder.

So much learning happens when children are given the space to explore the world in ways that feel meaningful to them.

Child-led doesn’t mean “doing nothing.” It means observing, joining, encouraging, and trusting that play, connection, and curiosity are already teaching so much.

This is where the best moments for learning happen🌿☀️They are swinging together on the swings, laughing in the sunshine, splashing in water play, stomping on bubbles, exploring together.

Childhood was never meant to be rushed🤍🤍🤍

Today we released our butterflies and watched curiosity take flight! From caring for our caterpillars to celebrating their transformation, this moment reminded us how powerful hands-on learning and connection with nature can be 🤍

What does it mean to be neurodiversity affirming? ☁️

It means seeing each child as unique, whole, and capable, exactly as they are🫶It means not needing to change who they are, but to be seen, understood, loved, and supported just as they are 🦋

It means:
✨Celebrating individuality, not changing it
✨ Creating environments where kids feel safe, joyful, and understood
✨ Following the child’s lead and building on their strengths
✨ Prioritizing connection and communication in everyday moments
✨ Letting go of “fixing” and embracing differences
✨ Supporting autonomy, choice, and confidence
✨ Listening, really listening, to neurodivergent voices

Neurodiversity-affirming care isn’t a checklist, but rather a mindset ✨ It’s about shifting from “How do we change this child to fit into this world?” to “How do we change this world, change the environments, change the approach, to really support this child in what matters most, in what they truly need?” “How do we help this child grow in what is most meaningful to them and their family?” “How do we meet them exactly where they are, exactly as they are, and help them soar?” 🦋☁️✨
