Today’s Mural Spotlight is on “Why We Love Coltrane”, painted by Ernel Martinez and completed on October 01, 2017. It is located on 29th and Diamond Streets in North Philadelphia. Coltrane was a jazz saxophonist and composer who inspired an entire generation of jazz musicians. This is actually the second mural in his honor, as the first one was lost to demolition.
