The date is May 19, 2027. ⁣

It was supposed to be our 7 year wedding anniversary. ⁣
⁣
We try our best to explain to our super smart, ornery, blue eyed babe about the pandemic and why mommy and daddy had to postpone their wedding. ⁣
⁣
Mommy is tired but saved today by two grandmas who are absolute angels.⁣
⁣
Daddy who has a few more wrinkles from working way too hard has agreed to take a day off with me. ⁣
⁣
We’re packing up to take the the kids to the house at Lake Travis tomorrow. Quinn isn’t old enough to enjoy the boat yet but she enjoys watching her big sis. ⁣
⁣
Their dad catches a lot of glances from women at the lake and it makes me smile. ☺️ He’s somehow still 6% body fat, his physique unphased by parenthood. 🙄⁣
⁣
We’re taking the French bulldog, Diamond. We got her after having to put Stella down last year. (The hardest day of my life.) It’ll be a few years before my heart can handle it but we’ll eventually get another white pittie. ⁣

Sitting here today...8 months before my 40th bday I’m reminded what’s important. ⁣
⁣
It’s not work or launches or revenue targets. ⁣
⁣
It’s not daily kid schedules. ⁣
⁣
It’s not the silly argument from last week. ⁣
⁣
It’s getting ready for the lake with my family. These are the moments. ❤️⁣

Do you want to know what’s been the hardest part of wedding planning?

A global. freaking. pandemic.

While this is hard for us to announce, Ryan and I- along with our families- have decided that the best plan of action is to postpone the public celebration of our marriage. While we are saddened at the thought of June 20, 2020 not looking like we planned, we cannot imagine compromising the health of each of our loved ones and all of the vendors involved in our day. We want the big celebration to be the one we have been envisioning for the last 504 days- everyone sharing in our happiness and dancing until they kick us out!

Trying to look at the future and be positive.

So I have mentioned this some but I’m offering live streaming free for any couple who has me do their wedding film. I know there is a lot of uncertainty with what weddings will look like the rest of this year, so my hope is I can help you include friends and family who may no longer be able to come for my reason.

04.18.2020✨ Mr. & Mrs. Cicoria 🥂 this wasn’t the wedding we planned { } but it was so special! We said “I do” with our parents & grandparent watching IRL && felt the love from over 90 people in different states and countries who dressed up and toasted to us via Zoom. It wasn’t traditional but with help from and our amazing families, it was absolutely perfect 💕 .
