Some days just feel extra special 🤍

Yesterday, in the middle of a session, one of my sweet families handed me the most beautiful latte—and it honestly stopped me in my tracks. Not just because it was delicious (it truly was ☕️), but because it was such a thoughtful reminder of the trust and kindness that lives in this work.

Getting to sit one-on-one with a child, to support them, encourage them, and be invited into their learning journey… that is never something I take lightly. As a mom, I know how big of a deal it is to let someone else step into that role. It’s personal. It’s important. And it means everything to me.

I really can’t imagine doing anything other than teaching. Being welcomed into your homes, your routines, and your children’s lives is such a gift. The time I get with these kids—and the relationships we build with families—are something I’m deeply, deeply grateful for.
We truly get to work with the very best families and the most incredible kids, and I don’t take a single bit of that for granted.

And that latte? It felt like such a simple, but meaningful, reflection of the kindness and trust in this work 🤍

Hi, I’m Lisa Owen M. Ed. — owner of PEAK Educational Services, mom of four Pennridge students, and a big believer in research-based educational practices (I fully admit I geek out about teaching 🤓).

We’re a local, family-owned educational support team, and the educators I work with are people I trust deeply — not just professionally, but personally. Every educator on our team is certified, fully cleared, and committed to using practices that truly help kids grow.
