PEAK Educational Services LLC was born out of a community need for quality tutoring based in scientific research and best practices. Founder and service provider, Lisa Owen, is a certified elementary education teacher and special education teacher who has her Master's Degree in Literacy and Language. She is a local mom of four and has 15 years working in education. She specializes in personalizing

action plans for students who are struggling or in need of enrichment beyond the classroom. Lisa can provide services for students PreK-6 in all content areas, PreK-12 for reading support, and preK-12 for support with study skills and executive functioning skills. Lisa believes that all learning should involve components of fun- because without active student engagement and motivation, even the best lessons will fall flat. PEAK- Personalized Educational Advancements for Kids- aims to provide our community with educational supports and approaches that are rooted in the neurological science of human learning and development in an approachable, friendly and fun way!

You can take the reading teacher out of Perkasie… but can’t keep her away from children’s literature for long. 📚😂

An unplanned stop at a gorgeous local library in Maine somehow made it onto our vacation itinerary, and honestly, no one was disappointed. For us, libraries are just part of the adventure.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our kids isn’t just the ability to read—it’s helping them discover that reading can be something they want to do. A home where books are easy to reach, library visits are frequent, and reading for pleasure is simply part of family life can make a lasting difference.

For us there’s no pressure this week. No book reports. No reading logs. Just stories, curiosity, and a little vacation detour that felt exactly like us. ❤️📚

Homeschooling is such a unique journey.

No two homeschool families look exactly alike. Every family has different goals, different schedules, different philosophies, and different reasons for choosing this path. It's one of the things I love most about working with homeschoolers!

For the past several years, PEAK Educational Services has had the privilege of supporting many local homeschool families. Sometimes families come to us because reading isn't clicking. Sometimes, math has become a daily battle. Sometimes parents simply want reassurance that their child is on the right track or would like an assessment from another objective, experienced educator.

Whatever brings you here, our goal is never to take over your homeschool. We simply become another member of your team.

From one parent to another—summer can either be a reset! ☀️

We’re starting to fill up for summer tutoring, and it’s such a great way to keep skills fresh, build confidence, and head into the new school year feeling ready (instead of playing catch-up). It’s also a great option for continuing services that often pause over the summer—without losing all that hard-earned progress.
