JCLG Editing Editing service. I provide freelance editing services for anyone who needs them. This does not reflect the quality of my work in any way.

Whether you're writing the next great American novel, your thesis, a research paper, website, or anything else, I can help you make it clear, concise, and error-free! Because I'm just getting started, my rates are much lower than the industry standard. Basic rates* are as follows:

-$1.50 per page for basic proofreading (spelling, punctuation, grammar, word usage).
-$2 per page for copy editing/su

bstantive editing (above PLUS suggest small changes such as rearranging, rephrasing. Point out gaps, inconsistencies, and contradictions).
-$3 per page for developmental editing (walking through the manuscript from the beginning of the process). (assuming a standard 250-word page)

I also offer transcription services for $50 per audio hour.

*All rates are subject to change, but I will never change your rate in the middle of your project. The rate I give you at the beginning will be the rate you pay. If you feel like you can't afford this, please contact me anyway! I will work with you as much as possible. "But I don't need an editor!"
