Our annual REAL World Career Connections event is fast approaching, in partnership with the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce, and we’re proud to announce that the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville and Pflugerville Conference Center will be hosting us this year!

**The audience for the event will be PfISD 8th - 12th Students **

This event is designed to help PfISD students learn more about careers, local businesses & what is required to be successful in their chosen field. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about apprenticeship programs, apply for local positions for internships, summer work, and/or entry-level positions.

During Tuesday's Business Pfirst Luncheon, Traci Hendrix, Director of Pfisd Career and Technical Education - CTE and Pflugerville ISD Superintendent, Dr. Douglas Killian, presented Executive Director, Amy Madison with the Career and Technical Association of Texas 'Champion for CTE' award.

This award recognizes leaders in business and industry executives who support and champion CTE programs as a vital part of developing a prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce.
