Good morning, Junior high practice will begin Monday morning 8/24. Athletes should arrive no later than 6:20 a.m. to prepare for the start of their 6:45 a.m. practice, which will run through their first period. Monday thru Wednesday. Thank you, Eagles LTW.

Dear Parents or Guardians

I hope your summer is going well and you are ready to begin the 2026-2027 athletic school year. The University of the Interscholastic League (UIL) has directed coaches and athletic departments to begin the use of Rank One as their primary source for forms, eligibility, communication, etc.

Hence, we are asking all Pettus ISD parents or guardians to go to the Rank One website and set up an account in order for us to slowly, but surely begin to transition to the use of this program for our athletes as soon as possible.

Monday 8/3:
Players arrive no later than 5:15 AM
Mouth Pieces are required for first day of practice for the entire duration of the football season. Parents can purchase their own for players (maroon, black, white only) or a maroon one will be provided on the first day of practice. (Directions for molding provided on packaging)

Practice 1: 6:00-8:50
Practice 2: None

Tuesday 8/4:
Practice 1: 6-8 arrive no later than 5:30
Practice 2: Starts at 4:00

Wednesday 8/5:
Practice 1: 6:00-8:15
Practice 2: Starts at 4:00

Thursday 8/6:
Practice 1: 6:00 - 8:30
Practice 2: None

Friday 8/7:
Practice 1: 6:00 – 9:00
Practice 2: 10:00 – 1
Bring Swim wear, towel etc. Bring $5-10 minimum (lunch will be available for purchase at a discounted rate)
Athletes will be transported to Beeville country club for recreational swim.

Saturday 8/8:
Practice 1: 8:00 – 10:00 First full contact practice.
Practice 2: None
